BATUBULAN
This village is famous for its Barong & Kris Dance which is performed everyday in two different timing: morning and evening. Morning dance is conducted from 09:30 to 10:30. The Barong & Kris dance tells us about the balance between goodness and badness in everyday life of Hindus people. Visitors are advised to see it all because it is so attractive and entertaining. Besides, this area is well-known for its spectacular stone carvings. These fabulous stone carvings take in various forms starting from beautiful creatures of Hindus colossal story to a modern art style. The stone carvings are displayed in the side roads, right in front of people’s houses along Singapadu to Batubulan streets. Come and have a visit to have better overview of the Balinese carving.

CELUK
It is a silver and gold smith village which has been renowned all over the world. Various and high quality silver work is made by local silver smiths which is incomparable to any places in Bali. For jewellery lovers, it is highly recommended to have a visit in to this place and buy one for souvenir or self-used. This place is reachable only 20 minutes drive from Ubud or 5 minutes from Barong Dance venue of Batubulan. Various unique design silver works are produced everyday and showcase in each art shop along Celuk street. Not only is it admired by local people, it is much loved by people from other countries. This makes the silver work producers export their high quality work to United States, England, Japan, etc.

MAS VILLAGE
An art village seems to be very suitable to address this place. Thousands of handicrafts and paintings can easily be found here. If you look for either old or modern furniture, this village offers a wide range. Starting from entering the village, on both sides of the road you will see lots of displays of art from the shops and they seem attracting visitors to have a closer look inside. This is a good place to visit by art lovers because they can go from one shop (or gallery) to another just in seconds. It takes only 10 minutes drive from Celuk or 15 minutes drive from Ubud city you can have high quality arts which are originally made by local villagers. Throngs of visitors visit this place every day, and now is your turn to be part of them and see the specialty of Balinese art.

UBUD
Famous for its art and culture, Ubud becomes the only tourism object to which people interested in arts are coming and visiting this place. Frankly speaking, Ubud tourism site is focusing on arts and culture; thus, many art work can be found almost everywhere in Ubud. Museums and fine art galleries are plenty. Besides, Ubud is also famous for its traditional market and holy monkeys (Monkey Forest). Ubud traditional market starts from early morning to eight o’clock, and will change to an art market afterwards. Both traditional and art markets are so recommended as they offer a very competitive price. The monkey forest itself is just 10 minutes away from the market. There are more than 300 sacred monkeys there and they are quite friendly to the visitors. If you come and visit it, do not forget to bring some bananas for them.
