The Spring Water Temple & Ubud Tour starts at around 10:00 (for those staying around Ubud; out of Ubud, it is suggested to take the one day tour). We are going to take you to see the holy spring water temple where Balinese people do a purification and holy bathing in a pool located in the middle stage of the temple. Some places that we will visit during the tour are as follows:

  • SPRING WATER TEMPLE : A holy spring water temple and purification
  • MAS VILLAGE                    : The centre of fine wood carvings and handicrafts
  • UBUD                                   : Colony of artist and monkey forest

SPRING WATER TEMPLE
Another prestigious historical remain is Holy Spring Water Temple (Pura Tirta Empul) nestled in Tampak Siring district, Gianyar regency. This temple is famous for its ‘holy bathing and showers’ which is believed to eliminate diseases and to purify human body and spirit. Furthermore, close to this temple, we can see the mansion of Indonesian president which was built by first president of Indonesia. The palace was built elegantly in a modern style on its era. Throngs of visitors come into this place every day especially on a holy day such as full moon or the temple ceremony. We highly recommend you visit this place once you are in Bali and do purification under the fountains of the pool.

MAS VILLAGE
An art village seems to be very suitable to address this place. Thousands of handicrafts and paintings can easily be found here. If you look for either old or modern furniture, this village offers a wide range. Starting from entering the village, on both sides of the road you will see lots of displays of art from the shops and they seem attracting visitors to have a closer look inside. This is a good place to visit by art lovers because they can go from one shop (or gallery) to another just in seconds. It takes only 10 minutes drive from Celuk or 15 minutes drive from Ubud city you can have high quality arts which are originally made by local villagers. Throngs of visitors visit this place every day, and now is your turn to be part of them and see the specialty of Balinese art.

UBUD
Famous for its art and culture, Ubud becomes the only tourism object to which people interested in arts are coming and visiting this place. Frankly speaking, Ubud tourism site is focusing on arts and culture; thus, many art work can be found almost everywhere in Ubud. Museums and fine art galleries are plenty. Besides, Ubud is also famous for its traditional market and holy monkeys (Monkey Forest). Ubud traditional market starts from early morning to eight o’clock, and will change to an art market afterwards. Both traditional and art markets are so recommended as they offer a very competitive price. The monkey forest itself is just 10 minutes away from the market. There are more than 300 sacred monkeys there and they are quite friendly to the visitors. If you come and visit it, do not forget to bring some bananas for them.
